Naked On The Run

Well  Urban Decay has done it again with Naked On The Run pallet which retails at £37. 

The palette is a good size for travelling. Its compact ,looks sleek ,has rose gold metalic finish around the edges and the writing with a really cool artwork design on the front.

 

 

 

 

 

 

There are 6 new eyeshadow shades:

 Dive 'metallic rose with golden mirco-shimmer'

Fix 'soft taupe matte'

Resist 'medium metallic taupe'

Dare 'medium matte brown'

Stun 'mattalic bronze with light gold micro-shimmer'

5050 'cool bisque sattern' this can also double up as a suttle highlight shade. (swatched down below)

Urban decay shadows are very creamy,bleandable and very pigmemted there've been my favourite for a long time. the wear of the shadows will differ from person to person but for me without a primer  it lasts all day without creasing.

 

 

 

 

 

There are a bronzer and a blush :

Bronzer 'medium bronze matte'

In my opinion the bronzer was a let down in this pallete as its slightly orange for me, but could work for darker skintones.

Blush'vibrant pink with light shimmer'

The blush is very pigmemted so a light hand is needed when using this product, but does last all day for me.

24/7 glide on pencil (travel size):                                                                                  stag' dark brown sattern'                                                                                             The eyeliner stays on all day and really does glide on.

perversion mascara (travel size):                                                                              black, this mascara is very fluttery which can be very natural but also build up to very bold and super black.

Naked Lipgloss (full size):                                                                                       Sesso 'rose with pink shimmer'                                                                                adds a little colour to the lips with out being to sticky

I really do love this pallet its perfect for everyday wear throughout the year and just amazing for travelling. I highly recommend this pallet.

Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation

Hi, welcome to Jordan's Beauty Room, todays blog is going to be about the Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation I am in shade 2c2 pale almond.                                                    Estee Lauder claim it to be 15 hour wear even though heat humidity and nonstop activity,lightweight buildable natural and semi-matte, its 1FL.OZ.      

I want to start off with the negatives first of all I wish there was a pump because this is just a pour out type it always gets trapped in the lid and makes the bottle messy. If u do have dry patches stay away from this foundation it just clings to those patches, try the light version if you still want that long lasting element to the product I found if you use it with an pressed powder it looks cakey, it is buildable to an extent but I found you don't really need to build the product up as it is so high coverage. 

 Now the positives its a very high coverage foundation only really needs 1 layer, I apply this with the realtechniques expert face brush in circular motions and found that's the best way to achieve the airbrush look it really does last all day from about 7 in morning to 9-10 at night (15hr) I think this is perfect for someone with acne and needs all your spots covered up all day without touch ups, it does have spf 10 in but doesn't give flash back in flash photos its perfect for prom, weddings and other important events, now its not a drugstore product it is £29.50 but 100% worth the money.                                                                                                                         I wouldn't recommend this for mature skin but young skin is amazing. When removing try and use a oil base make up remover because it is quiet hard to get off but make sure you take it off every night with out fail because you will more then likely break out. I have had it for about at least 4 months using it without fail everyday and I still have about another months worth of product left so it does last.
